  Sarah Humble-DIRECTOR OF NURSING

My story starts as all of our does, in childhood. I was raised in a loving yet poor family. My servant heart was passed on to me from my mother who was constantly giving and helping others even when we had nothing to give she would share her home and a seat at the table with anyone in need. My love for nursing began from the bottom up. I started as a CNA/CMA in 2006 in long term care and assisted living facilities. I slowly worked my way through school as I grew my family (now a family of five). I Graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in December 2013. I have gone on to work in med-surg, long term care and skilled nursing units. I started my journey at Homestead Health Center in April 2016 as a charge nurse then moved into new opportunities to grow and learn. I have seen our facility grow and overcome new challenges and proud to be a part of a great culture of caring individuals which thrive here at Homestead Health Center. As the Director of Nursing, I look forward to see what the future holds. Thank you to all my fellow servants and residents who have entrusted and believed in me to fulfill my potential to serve and direct, so we may continue to provide the quality care that continues to make Homestead Health Center a place to call home.
