I started my career as a public servant, working for the Department for Children and Families.  After a false start in Accounting, where I learned that “numbers don’t speak to me”, I transferred to the Human Resources Department.  I found that I had an affinity for helping people deal with all sorts of problems, and I was immediately at home in my new role.  I have been doing the same thing, in different nonprofits, in increasingly significant roles, throughout all my career, which now spans over 25 years.  I love the family friendly atmosphere and the culture of caring I have found at Homestead.
